Marie Wise-Hawkins

I was born in Glendale, California, and I’ve lived in Spring Hill forover ten years now. I began singing when I was just two years oldand started playing guitar at age twelve. In addition to acousticguitar and voice, I also play ukulele and a bit of piano.Outside of teaching, I regularly perform at honky-tonks onBroadway in downtown Nashville which allows me to stay active inthe live music community. In my free time I enjoy spending time withmy corgis Shelby and Rebel, my tabby cat Bandit, golfing, dancing, and recently started pilates which has been a peaceful andgrounding addition to my routine. My favorite style of music is country because of it’s storytelling andemotional honesty. I also love classical music, and Puccini is myfavorite composer. His melodies and dramatic expression havealways inspired me as a vocalist.
