Fall Semester 2025 PoliciesOur Responsibilities:
We will teach your child the language and enjoyment of music. Our studio has a positive, enthusiastic and inspiringenvironment. Curriculum is tailored to match each student’s specific learning needs.
Student & Family Responsibilities: Students agree to arrive at each lesson punctually, well-prepared, and with their assignment books and music. To make good progress, quality practice is necessary. We want your child to completely understand every assignment. Please ask questions. If your child is experiencing anything at home or at school that might interfere with their ability to focus and learn during their lesson, please notify us so that we can accommodate the needs of your child. A quick text on the way to lesson can make the difference between a great lesson and a difficult one. (Did Max just find out that he didn't get the part in the play? Give us a heads up. Was Jane hospitalized on your recent trip to Thailand? Let us know!) We don't expect personal/private details, but even a general idea gives us the ability to adjust our approach for your child.
Make Up Policy• Any lesson that a teacher cancels will be made up.• Should a student miss a lesson, they can sign up for one of our group make up sessions offered throughout the year. Group make ups can be any class of their choice, not necessarily the instrument they are studying. Dates and titles of the sessions will be made available each semester.
Termination PolicyIn the event a student decides to terminate lessons, a two week notice is required, along with any fees that are dueup to the point of termination. If a student decides to take a break for a month or more, they will loose their spot,(teacher, day/time of lesson). However, if they take off and continue to pay, not only can they take advantage of the group make ups, they will also get to keep their current spot. When a student discontinues lessons, all make up credits are terminated.
Inclement WeatherIn the event we are experiencing a weather event to include flooding, tornado warnings, snow and/or ice onthe roads and lessons are cancelled, they will be made up at a later date within the semester.
